Assaluyeh is a new port in the Bushehr province in south west of Iran. It is located on 300 Km East of the port of Bushehr along the Persian gulf coasts and 570 Km West of the port of Bandar Abbas, and 100 KM distance from South Pars Gas Field. The Iranian South Pars field is the northern extension of Qatar's giant North Field. Assaluyeh is connected to Tehran and to other cities of the country by road and air.
